A jewel of Art Nouveau architecture, the Bellevue Palace is situated in the heart of Berne next to the Federal Parliament. Its location and history are as unique as it's panoramic "belle vue" of the Bernese Alps and River Aare. Built in 1912, the Bellevue Palace has hosted heads of states and dignitaries from around the world for nearly a century. Its guests have included royalty, history's most eminent international statesmen and leading figures from the world of sport and entertainment. First opened in 1865, it has served as a hotel, a belle epoque Grand Hotel, Military HQ during WW1, and now is owned by the Swiss Confederation, and operated by the Victoria Jungfrau Collection of historic Swiss Hotel renown.
With 128 rooms, including 24 Suites and Jr. Suites, the hotel has been recently renovated and includes all modern amenities with a classic old-world flair. Ample banquet space for events and meetings round out the offer.

Restaurant VUE: La cuisine “néo-artisanal“ is influenced by the brasseries of France, head Chef Gregor Zimmermann invites guests to savor his cuisine, focusing on fresh products and dedicated craftsmanship.
The Bellevue Bar has always been a meeting place for politicians and diplomats, and has featured in John le Carré's spy novels.
