A few steps from Gstaad’s Promenade, the beating heart of the famous resort, the Grand Hotel Park is nestled in a south facing park, facing towards Mt Wispile and the Diablerets Glacier. A leading luxury hotel in the jet-set’s favorite resort distinguishes itself with a style that is contemporary, yet respectful of the region’s heritage. The atmosphere is entirely devoted to the wellbeing of its guests, to the enjoyment of the far-from-everyday in a totally unpretentious way.
The 84 rooms and 10 suites, spread over 7 floors, introduce guests to both a warm and friendly atmosphere and contemporary design. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the forest or the mountains towards Mt Wispile and the Diablerets Glacier. They each provide about 40 m2 of space and are dominated by flannel, brushed wood sourced from local forests, wengé and leather, an intentional nod towards the typical chalet style and nature.
The Penthouse Suites are tucked into the eaves of the 19th century building, exquisitely furnished, with sustainable woods and wool products, cozy fireplaces in the master bedrooms, and fabulous views of the Bernese Alps. Some also include private mini spas with hammams and saunas.
SPA & WELLNESS: Set in elegant and minimalist surroundings, the Park Spa consists of a vast saltwater pool, heated to 32°C with Jacuzzi and relaxing areas, state-of-the art gym, saunas and Turkish baths - separate for men and women. In the park of the hotel, an outdoor pool is accessible in summer. 10 treatment rooms are available, offering a full menu of massage and beauty treatments using products from Aromatherapy Associates.
FOOD & DINING:
The Grand Restaurant: Chef Guiseppe Colella offers fine European cuisine with Mediterranean touches in a decor dressed in loden green, with a panoramic south facing terrace.
The Marco Polo restaurant invites you to discover the journey of the famous explorer through dishes from Italy to China and Thailand. A true change of scenery in the heart of the Bernese Alps (only in winter).
Chalet Waldhuus, the small cottage tucked away in the garden, offers an authentic mountain experience to enjoy specialties like Swiss fondue or raclette in a typical setting with cow bells, wood carvings and checkered linens (only in winter).
