FOOD & DRINK:
"The Japanese Restaurant" seats only 46 guests who may choose to dine at either the open sushi and sashimi bar or tempura counter, for front row seats to the action from Japanese Masters and visiting chefs (winter season only).
"The Restaurant" with its captivating views to Nätschen Mountain, this East-West eatery showcases authentic central Swiss, European and Asian fare.
"The Bar & Living Room" aprés-ski or for late night cocktails rev up or cool down in the relaxed Asian chic ambience, complemented with live music and roaring fires.
SPA & WELLNESS: 2,400m2 spa and wellness centre with a tranquil retreat of hydrothermal baths and a duo of swimming pools set against the stunning outdoor Alpine landscape. In ten deluxe treatment suites, highly trained international therapists will knead and pamper you with the finest organic products.
LOCATION: In the center of the historic village of Andermatt, walking distance to restaurants and shops and skiing.
The Chedi Andermatt is the first landmark of the new Andermatt Swiss Alps development, set to emerge over the next 10 years on a 1.4-million square meter land area. The development includes six 4- and 5-star hotels, 42 apartment buildings, 25 exclusive luxury villas, a shopping promenade with restaurants, an 18-hole championship golf course, a sports centre with wellness services, concert and event facilities, and underground car parks. The construction is taking place in phases and the initial opening is scheduled for 2014. The Andermatt ski facilities will be modernized and connected with the neighboring ski area of Sedrun to create a first-class ski arena. This well-serviced facility with around 130 kilometers of superb slopes will keep skiers content and challenged in wintertime.
