Part of the world’s biggest skiing area, the 3 Valleys, Courchevel is a land where excellence and French tradition is second nature. The resort is spread over 5 altitudes and each village presents a different face. Courchevel is one big superlative. The rich and famous flock to this most exclusive level which has sealed the resort’s international reputation, with luxury hotels whose excellence has imbued the whole resort.
The 3 Valleys ski area is an exceptional, internationally-renowned playground. Moreover, it is an extremely accessible ski area (50% easy runs) which is easy to get around (3 parallel valleys linked together by lifts or runs over the ridges, or passes) and tremendously varied (from the valley floor to the glaciers, all forms of skiing and snowboarding are possible). Courchevel offers 150 kilometres of alpine ski runs served by 58 lifts enabling you to make the most of your days on the slopes. Whatever your level of expertise, choose your itinerary and set off to enjoy some unforgettable days of skiing. The vast array of non-skiing activities is another plus point for a resort which constantly strives to satisfy and amaze its visitors.
In summer, Courchevel is just as attractive as in the winter: high mountain pastures and an abundance of panoramic views. Those who enjoy a bit of a challenge can make their way to the summits by way of some beautiful hiking paths. For families and those who prefer a gentler pace, La Saulire cable car will carry you to the summit of the same name, the departure point for a number of hiking and mountain bike trails, as well as Via Ferrata routes.
In Courchevel, the mountains are for everyone’s enjoyment!
