Best of Valais Guided Mountain Bike Trip
The southwestern Swiss canton of Valais offers some of the most amazing and diverse mountain bike terrain anywhere in the Alps. Get the best of it by visiting top mountain bike resorts of Verbier, St-Luc and Zermatt. Your Epic Europe MTB guides have been exploring the singletracks of the Valais for over 15 years, and have the best trails dialed, for whatever flavor of riding you are looking for.
In Verbier, the bike park offers world-class downhill and freeride trails, while we can also use the ski lifts to access the high alpine for some of the best enduro riding in the Alps. If climbing is your thing, there are many options for that as well, including the starting trails of the Grand Raid Verbier - Grimentz. Additionally, some day-trip options can take you to adjacent valleys, or even descend to Italy for lunch.
Val d'Anniviers is an isolated valley high above Sierre, and features wild, remote singletracks with huge vertical descent. Finish a ride in a renowned vineyard for a private tasting of the local wines. And in Zermatt, you'll take the 120 year-old Gornergrat Railway to over 3000m, for a life-changing sunset ride ride with the iconic Matterhorn casting its shadow over the village.
The Best of Valais guided mountain bike trip is a 3-stop, 10-day adventure that highlights one of Europe's best MTB destinations.
