Sometimes when you're waiting for summer to arrive in the Alps, the best thing to do is jump in the car and head to a nearby region where you can get on the bike and roll some beautiful roads in the sunshine, drink some legendary wines, and explore the history and culture of another country.
We headed to Burgundy to ride through world-renowned vineyards, but also discovered empty roads through wide-open farmland, dotted with Charolais cows, châteaus, and quaint villages with incredible bistrots and cafés.
