Our greatest satisfaction here at Epic Europe comes from introducing people to the Alps that we love, and it is especially gratifying when you are able to bring people outside of their normal environment and discover new experiences that they never thought they would be able to do, nor get such a thrill from.
For the month of July, we had a corporate incentive group, a different team each week, all from a large outdoor and sports retail company from all over Europe. The top performing workers and shop managers were offered a “working week” in the mountains, where they would hike, trail-run, and mountain bike, often for the first times int heir lives. Mostly from urban areas, many of the guests were fish out of water for the first day, but by the end of the week, all had been converted to alpine sports fanatics. With the ability to hike or ride right from the door of the chalet here in Verbier, each day created a team-building opportunity, and the effects will last well beyond the immediate future. These experiences create indelible memories and a sense of group accomplishment that you just can’t achieve in a corporate workshop.
