We are very excited to offer a very special trip this fall in Tuscany, Italy. In conjunction with my sister, Chef Liza Shaw and Villa Montecastello: a Tuscan Harvest Culinary Course / Cycling trip that will deliver the best food, wine, and riding of the region.
Based at Villa Montecastello, a stunning 11th-century restored hilltop villa and biodynamic farm overlooking the Elsa River Valley, just outside of Siena, guests will learn the essence of true farm-to-table cooking. The trip is offered from October 10th-16th, with options to extend for further Tuscan exploration.
Morning activities include hikes or bike rides to daily markets and local producers to supplement ingredients, where guests will have the opportunity to learn directly from the source of these specialty products. There is no better way to build your appetite and discover the Tuscan landscape than a morning pedal through misty vineyards and medieval villages, and a truly unique option among immersion culinary courses.
If you love Italian food & wine, Tuscan hilltop villages, or cycling, this trip is a chance to experience them all with a dose of culinary instruction and vineyard visits. Come join us this October!
