The Fragsburg has been cultivated with great dedication into a harmonious whole, with antique furniture, contemporary designer items and a hint of art deco. The historic hunting lodge has been restored and renovated over time by the Ortner family, with an eye for beauty and a heart for history. And in front of the hotel, a classic motorbike and sidecar in royal red promise bohemian flair. 

 

SPA & WELLNESS: The Castellum Alchemistic Spa uses natural power and energies to pamper body, mind and soul in equal measure. Every product is prepared by the Castellum team using fresh, handpicked natural ingredients. Expert practitioners are also on hand to provide individual advice and natural cosmetics treatments that are custom tailored to your needs.

 

FOOD & DRINK: At the Gourmet Restaurant, Chef Christoph Terschan’s unmistakable style is characterized by a rare fusion of the Alpine and the Mediterranean, regional cuisine fused with delicacies he has encountered in far-away lands in the course of his career.

 

LOCATION: Castel Fragsburg is perched on the south-facing hillside above the city of Merano and the surrounding Südtirol vineyards, 3 hours from Venice, 2 hours from Innsbruck.
