Chalet Montana is one of Verbier’s finest and most stylish private homes. Refurbished in 2009, this vast property has been lavishly designed, inside and out, featuring reclaimed 17th century wood paneling, intricately carved 18th century ceilings and flooring, and natural stones from the nearby Italian Valle d’Aosta.
The spacious chalet has generous rooms throughout, befitting of such a grand property, and a rarity now in Verbier. The main living area is furnished with cozy furniture and warm textiles that surround an open fireplace. A library, with home cinema, opens off of the living room, and sliding doors lead to the beautiful wood-paneled dining room, comfortably seating 12. The wonderful airy kitchen has been crafted in natural stones and antique woods, and is equipped to the highest standards. A second Swiss-style breakfast/dining room with television, seating ten to twelve, is a great venue for the kids’ meals.
12 guests are accommodated in seven bedrooms; in the two single bedrooms and the two-person bunk room, further pull-out beds are available (suitable for children).
WELLNESS: The lower floor of the chalet contains a spa & wellness area with Hammam, shower, and toilet located off a games room with a table tennis table and a boxing bag. This area can also be used as a massage room.
FOOD & DRINK: Catered services includes a champagne reception, hot breakfast served in the dining room accompanied by a selection of local yogurts, muesli, cereals, and fresh crusty bread and jams. After skiing: Return to your chalet or apartment for afternoon tea and home-baked cakes. In the evening, enjoy a five-course dinner accompanied by a choice of complimentary European house wines (6nts.).
LOCATION: Discreetly located above the Chemin de Clambin on its own grounds, you can ski to the front door of the chalet, which boasts spectacular panoramic views and easy access to the main lift station and the village centre.
