Les Neiges d’Antan translates to “the snows of yesteryear”, a fitting description of the feel of this cozy oasis located just below the resort center of Cervinia, in a private location surrounded by woodlands and imposing peaks. Hotelier Ludovico Bich has created the ultimate atmospheric blend of classic and cool in this funky lodge, our favorite boutique hotel in the Alps. The ambiance is an authentic mix of generations lived under the South side of the Matterhorn; The Bich family has an incredible local history, from Jean-Baptiste Bich, on the first team to ascend the Italian side of Cervino to the present day management.
Les Neiges d’Antan welcomes guests in every way; relax fireside in sunken velvet lounges, party the night away listening to retro vinyl from Ludo and his father’s incredible collection, sample local Aostan specialties in the dining room surrounded by the collection of antique maps and etchings, and sink into sleep in the wood paneled bedrooms.
SPA & WELLNESS: Outdoor hot tub, turkish steam bath and natural ice-melt plunge pool, indoor sauna and relaxation area, masseuse available for various treatments.
FOOD & DRINK: The elegant dining room serves local Aostan specialties with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal ingredients. House smoked trout, rabbit liver paté, and house cured meats, the wine cellar is chilled with natural refrigeration; cold water seeps from green serpentine stone in the foundation, a spectacular site. The bar and lounge is fantastic for après ski or late night parties.
LOCATION: 4km below Cervinia, the hotel provides free transportation to and from the resort in their 3 Land Rovers.
