The crown jewel in Alexander Seiler's hotel empire, the Mont Cervin Palace defines Zermatt luxury accommodation and historic hospitality. Located in the heart of Zermatt, the “MCP” has been entertaining visitors for than 150 years. One of the "Leading Hotels of the World", the Mont Cervin is comprised of several different buildings, each with its' own character, but sharing the same 5-star amenities.
The 165 rooms are comfortable, classic, and depending on guests' preference, quite modern. But if a taste of the old Zermatt is what you're after, the Mont Cervin Palace blends the best of the old and new with timeless luxury.
Chalet-style rooms are found in the Petit Cervin, the newer “boutique hotel” side of the complex. With rustic wood panelling and deep colors, each room feels like a tiny private chalet. Alpine-style rooms in the main building (completely renovated in 2013) are brighter, with leather furnishings and wool accents. In the Residence, two and three-bedroom suites also include an open fireplace and whirlpool, some with a private sauna and kitchen, perfect for a proper escape.
FOOD & DRINK: Ristorante Capri: Italian and Mediterranean specialities, 1 Michelin star, 15 points Gault Millau. Grill Le Cervin: wood-fired grill, and market-fresh produce, 14 points Gault Millau. The Cervin Palace is part of the Seiler Hotels’ “dine around” program, with dining options at 9 restaurants; French, Italian, Thai, Japanese, and traditional Swiss specialities.
SPA & WELLNESS: Indoor and outdoor pool, two whirlpools with views of the Zermatt mountains, depth 1.45 m, children’s pool with water slide. Finnish sauna with different aromatic essences, Bio sauna with colored light therapy. Steam baths with eucalyptus infusion and hot & cold footbaths, as well as a relaxation room with heated loungers, modern fitness room, strength and cardio equipment, personal trainer on request.
The “MCP Beauty Spa” offers an extensive menu of treatments with products from SENSAI by Kanebo, and The Organic Pharmacy.
LOCATION: The "MCP" is situated in the center of Zermatt, on the Bahnhofstrasse. Guests may arrive by horse-drawn carriage, if requested.
