CHALET CHATEL 4*, MEGÈVE

Chalet Chatel is a traditional alpine farmhouse restored to 21st century specifications. Located in the tiny hamlet of Les Choseaux, a peaceful setting atop the Mont d’Arbois plateau, just a few minutes away from the centre of Megève. The exposed beams, original woodwork, and Savoyard antiques blend seamlessly with modern comfort such as a private mini spa with Jacuzzi, sauna and treatment room.

 

Spacious rooms inundated with light, refined decoration placing great emphasis on noble materials - a few touches of leather, furs, and warm and contemporary fabrics. In the centre of the chalet is a oversized lounge with exposed beams, a beautiful wooden fireplace and a study corner. The adjoining dining room, which opens onto a big private terrace, easily lends itself to warm and friendly meals with family or friends, and the cozy kitchen with its La Cornue oven is a treat for all food lovers.

 

The master bedroom with its antique beamed ceiling creates the perfect warm and inviting cocoon; it also has an open bathroom with a luxurious bath. There are four further bedrooms each decorated in their own individual style.

 

SPA & WELLNESS: The features its own mini wellness area complete with Jacuzzi, sauna and treatment room. Guests also have access to the spa facilities at the 5* luxury Hotel Les Fermes de Marie; this includes an indoor pool, inside and outside Jacuzzis, and a full menu of massage and beauty treatments.

 

FOOD & DRINK: Guest can either dine at the hotel Les Fermes de Marie in one of several restaurants, or select to have a private chef cook for you in the comfort of your own chalet. Breakfast and afternoon tea are included in the price and are served in the chalet.

 

LOCATION: 3 minute drive to the ski lifts, 10 minute walk to the resort centre.
