GRAND HOTEL ZERMATTERHOF 5*
One of Zermatt’s original hotels, the Zermatterhof has a refined ambience and elegant decoration, it is grand hotel built for living, not just sleeping. FOOD & DRINK: “Prato Borni Alpine Gourmet”, the new specialty menu at the Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni restaurant showcases products from the Valais region, all prepared with an imaginative twist: modern, uncomplicated. Brasserie Lusi is more casual, open for lunch & dinner, serving French Brasserie classics. The newly opened “Say Cheese” carnotzet specializes in fondue and raclette from the Valais region.
SPA & WELLNESS: The Zermatterhof alpine spa “Vita borni”, means life from the source, the concept is that the atmosphere of well-being is reflected in the alpine world. The natural purity of the mountains blends with the healing effects of the water; hot and cold provide stimulation. Facilities include, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms, as well as a small gym. A full range of massage and beauty treatments are available with products from Swiss ant-aging brand Cellcosmet.
LOCATION: The Zermatterhof is located in the village center of Zermatt, next to the Zermatt museum and village church. Walking distance to all shops and the station. Access to the ski lifts is via bus (stop-2 minutes walk) or private taxi.
