Epic Europe

One of Zermatt’s original hotels, the Zermatterhof has a refined ambience and elegant decoration, it is grand hotel built for living, not just sleeping.  This oversize 1870s lodge, and longtime Alpinist mecca, has cozy rooms with murals, pine paneling, mountain accents. The grand ambiance is a step back in time, where many still dine in tuxedos and tea is served promptly at 4pm.

Brasserie Lusi is more casual, open for lunch & dinner, serving French Brasserie classics. The newly opened “Say Cheese” carnotzet specializes in fondue and raclette from the Valais region.

SPA & WELLNESS: The Zermatterhof alpine spa “Vita borni”, means life from the source, the concept is that the atmosphere of well-being is reflected in the alpine world. The natural purity of the mountains blends with the healing effects of the water; hot and cold provide stimulation. Facilities include, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms, as well as a small gym. A full range of massage and beauty treatments are available with products from Swiss ant-aging brand Cellcosmet.
