HOTEL BEAU RIVAGE 5*

Geneva

The Beau-Rivage was built in 1865 by Jean-Jacques Mayer, and has remained in the hands of the same family for five generations; one of the rare hotels in Switzerland that is still run by the founder’s direct descendants. Following a meticulous renovation from 2007-10, the hotel has been restored to its original grandeur, complete with precious pieces of furniture and art collected for over 150 years. Six historic suites imbued with the spirit of a bygone era have retained traces of their original décor, wood paneling, and fine Italian frescoes. These magnificently restored suites all have balconies looking out over the spectacular scenery of Lake Geneva and its Jet d’Eau (water jet).

FOOD & DRINK: "Le Chat-Botté", contemporary and inventive French cuisine from chef Dominique Gauthier, Chef of the year 2009, 18 points Gault Millau, 1 star Michelin.

Le Patara: Fine Thaï Cuisine, dine on the terrace overlooking Lac Leman in the summertime, 14 points Gault Millau. Atrium Bar serves aperitifs, cocktails and light snacks throughout the day, English afternoon tea and piano bar in the evening during the week.

RELAXATION AND WELL BEING: The Beau Rivage does not have a spa, but can organize beauty treatments, invigorating and relaxing massages, and personal trainer, by appointment.

LOCATION: located in the city centre, in the heart of the business and commercial district and also near the UN Palais des Nations. The Beau-Rivage Hotel is on the shores of the lake, opposite Mont-Blanc and 5 km from the International airport of Geneva - Cointrin, just 15 minutes away by car.
