Hotel des Balances is nestled in the heart of the "Old town", boasts one of the city’s trendiest restaurants, with a unique bar, lounge and riverside terrace, ultra-modern facilities for seminars and banquets, and has a stunning view of the Reuss River. The 4-star hotel has 56 tastefully appointed rooms in various categories, all of which, are comfortably equipped with a bath, shower (or both), a minibar, TV, radio and direct-dial telephone as well as coffee and tea appliances. The Hotel is decorated with historical flair consistent with modern design, a stylish arrangement in warm, naturally notes.
ROOMS: 56 rooms (108 beds, 9 Junior Suites, and Suites). The Suites are equipped with a whirlpool, and also have a steam shower or an infrared sauna.
FOOD & DRINK: The restaurant des Balances (14 gault Millau-points) will offer you the best culinary art. With its terrace on the Reuss, there is no better location during the mild spring and summer days and nights.
The Bar & Lounge: the beautiful wooden bar calls to mind the bow of a lovely boat, about to set sail. A popular spot, any day of the week; an ambiance of uncomplicated, casual elegance.
LOCATION: Situated in the heart of the "Old Town", The Hotel is just along the Reuss River. The train station is a 5 minutes' walk.
