In the heart of the Italian Alps, in the small town of Breuil-Cervinia lies the boutique hotel, Principe Delle Nevi or “Prince of Snow”. Boasting a prime location, the hotel can be found on one of the highest points in town, affording it ski-in/ski-out access to the mountains and magnificent, panoramic views of the infamous Matterhorn range.
The hotel underwent an extended renovation in 2010 and now has 27 rooms, including two luxury suites decorated as cozy, modern lofts. All rooms include fine Italian linens, L'Occitaine personal care products and stunning mountain views. Principe Delle Nevi believes in indulging guests in the full Italian experience, which includes gourmet food and wine and an ultra-modern spa for post-ski pampering.
Co-owners, James McNeill and Kristin Gynnild, have redefined modern, boutique hotel hospitality. The couple, who live on-site, handle everything for their guests with true, family-style service.
SPA & WELLNESS: The wellness area includes heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools (with hydrojets), steam room, rainforest shower, Finnish Sauna, Jacuzzi, relaxation room and fitness area. A full menu of massage and body treatments are available.
FOOD & DRINK: Chef Francesca Pasini specializes in homemade pastas, pastries, delectable sauces and deserts using the freshest, local ingredients. The ski-in ski-out bar is the perfect place to end your day on the hill, or start an evening on the town.
LOCATION: The hotel boasts a prime location in Cervinia at the “Alpe Giomein”, historically the sunniest spot in the whole resort, and includes a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is walking distance to the slopes and town.
The hotel opened a new hotel part November 2017. The new part of the hotel is connected to the existing hotel by a 65 m long tunnel. All the services are provided in the “old” hotel part, such as reception, shuttle service, breakfast & dinner, and the spa facilities.
