CHALET FONTANET 5*, VERBIER

Luxury 6 bedroom chalet-apartment, located in the 5* Sagittaire building, which is divided into 3 self-contained apartments with a beautiful communal pool, spa and gym facility. Despite being a new development, the chalet is sympathetically constructed in old wood and stone, and decorated by two leading interior designers, with each apartment having its own distinctive style.

 

Fontanet is the largest of the 3 apartments, and runs across the first and second floors of the building. A very spacious, open plan living area is located on the second floor, with large panorama windows, giving a bird's eye view of Savoleyres and the Val de Bagnes. The apartment has been designed to provide plenty of space to relax and have fun. The elegant living and dining area with open fireplace is furnished with a mix of modern and antique pieces, and is linked by folding doors to a billiard room with bar and separate TV snug. The kitchen is located separately to the rear.

 

The first floor houses the apartment's 6 bedrooms; 5 doubles/twins and a triple bunk room, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is decorated on a different theme, but the emphasis throughout is on comfort with extra deep sprung beds, goose down duvets, and Egyptian cotton bed linen.

 

*Chalet Fontanet can be combined with 2 other apartments in the Sagittaire complex for ultimate flexibility, including 15 bedrooms & sleeping up to 36 guests.

 

SPA & WELLNESS: Guests in the Sagittaire complex can enjoy all the facilities of a luxury spa (shared with 2 other apts.), with a 10 meter swimming pool, large hammam, and massage therapy room, constructed in a sleek design of stone and mosaic.  On the floor above, overlooking the pool, is a gym complex with a selection of machines and a spacious stretching area.

 

FOOD & DRINK: A professional chef trained to Michelin star standards is on staff to prepare breakfast, teatime treats and gourmet dinners with an emphasis on high quality, locally sourced ingredients. All of this served with an ample selection of delicious house wines.

 

LOCATION: Fontanet is located in the heart of Verbier on Chemin des Vernes, directly below the main Medran ski lift. In the morning it takes less than 5 minutes to walk directly to Medran. The shops, bars, restaurants and clubs of Verbier's Place Centrale and main High Street are also within an easy 10-minute walk. Notwithstanding the central location, your dedicated driver is on hand 24 hours a day, if required, to convey you to and from any location in the resort.
