Built in 1913, the Gstaad Palace has earned an unrivalled reputation for discreet, refined hospitality over the years, and has always welcomed the most discerning international clientele. Set on a hill overlooking the beautiful town of Gstaad, with a breathtaking view of the majestic Swiss Alps.

Building of the Gstaad Palace began in 1911, and in 1913 the grand opening of the Royal Hotel, Winter & Gstaad Palace was celebrated. Very modern for the period, its 150 rooms included 50 private bathrooms, electrical lighting throughout, and 6 telephone booths.
The 104 well-appointed bedrooms, including 23 suites and the spectacular three bedroom Penthouse Suite, all have views of the surrounding mountains. The decor is characterized by a harmonious composition of alpine elegance and luxurious understatement, blending perfectly into the sophisticated environment.
SPA & WELLNESS: The exclusive Palace spa facilities are spread over 1800 m² and include eight treatment rooms, a private spa suite, saunas and steam baths, relaxation areas with incredible views, an indoor pool and outdoor pool with Jacuzzi, a state-of-the-art gym, a Pilates Studio and a unique hammam experience with seven rooms.
FOOD & DRINK: Le Grand Restaurant & Terrace, elegant gastronomic restaurant blending creativity and haute cuisine, in the summer dine on the terrace in the Palace gardens
Le Grill, Rôtisserie restaurant serves international cuisine with on-the-spot preparation. Chefs prepare your meals in the show kitchen of the restaurant, which is rated with 16 Gault Millau points.
“La Fromagerie” with its warm wood-paneled walls, bright blue-and-white checked tablecloths and fanciful art, is a welcoming place to sample a traditional Swiss menu. Try the delicious truffle champagne cheese fondue or tempting Swiss raclette.
LOCATION: The Palace is located in the prestigious Oberbort in Gstaad, giving views onto the glistening village and breath-taking panorama. 10 minutes walking to the Promenade, 2 minutes drive.
